Oh my god, guys, I just found the greatest collection of animal print carpets online and I have to share it with you all. I mean, who doesn't want to walk all over some fuzzy animal patterns every day? It's like being in the wild, but without all the dirt and danger.
First up, we have this stunning number:
Can you even believe the amount of detail in this rug? It's like a jungle floor in there! I could spend hours just staring at it, imagining all the exotic creatures that might be lurking around. Plus, I bet it feels amazing underfoot. I'm seriously considering replacing all the floors in my house now.
But wait, there's more:
Um, ok, is it just me or are these stairs absolutely killing it? I never thought stairs could be sexy, but here we are. The way the light catches the fur and makes it glimmer is just...I'm at a loss for words, really. And can we talk about how awesome it is that this homeowner didn't just stop at the carpet, but added leopard print wallpaper? Talk about commitment to a theme.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this little journey through my latest obsession. If you need me, I'll be over here daydreaming about all the ways to work animal prints into my decor. Maybe next I'll get a whole set of zebra stripe furniture...who knows?
Update:
Guys, I couldn't resist. I went ahead and bought the first rug I showed you all. It arrived today and let me tell you, it's even more glorious in person. I've been prancing back and forth over it all day like a weirdo, but I don't even care. It's like I have my own little piece of the Serengeti right here in my living room.
Now I just need to figure out how to convince my boyfriend that zebra stripes are a totally acceptable choice for a sofa...
Update 2:
Breaking news: I convinced my boyfriend to go along with the zebra sofa! We went furniture shopping and he was all skeptical at first, but then we saw this gorgeous piece and he was sold. I'm so happy I could cry, you guys. I'll post a pic once it's all set up!
In the meantime, here's what our living room was looking like before:
Boring, right? It was like living in a doctor's waiting room. But now, with the rug and the sofa on the way, I can already feel the space coming to life. I'm thinking maybe some potted palms and a few cowhide throw pillows would really tie the whole thing together...thoughts?

Isn't it just perfect? I feel like such a queen sitting on it. Plus, now we can have all kinds of fun theme parties--oh, sorry, I guess I'm getting ahead of myself. But seriously, who wouldn't love coming over to sip cocktails on this thing, surrounded by all my animal print rugs and artwork? I think it's safe to say that my living room is officially my favorite room in the house now.
